Haley Powers is the Principal of Insiteful Meeting Planners, and is an expert in her profession. A graduate of Eastern Michigan University, she has worked in Sales and Marketing extensively since 1976, and has been a planner and site specialist since 1998. In that time, she has exceeded her clients' expectations worldwide, providing them with her expertise in international negotiations. Her background includes Director of Marketing for Embassy Suites, Marriott and Hyatt hotels, and Executive Director of a Convention Bureau.

Ms. Powers has taught Hotel and Restaurant Management at UCLA and is a frequent speaker and contributor at industry events. Her memberships have included Meeting Professionals International (for over 20 years), the American Society of Association Executives, and the Professional Conference Management Association. She has been published in industry magazines in the fields of both convention marketing and tourism.
